These pictures show how we transformed a longtime client’s new home lawn into a beautiful background for his new landscape.
The soil was almost pure sand and the builder had roughly laid sod to try to sell the home. The grass needed to be removed and quality soil amendments added.
BEFORE
We also installed an irrigation system to complete the package. Power raking removes the old turf and levels and loosens the soil.
DURING
We brought in almost 100 cubic yards of compost and loam mix to improve the nutrient and water holding capacity.
DURING
A few weeks later the lawn was getting well established before the winter freeze set in.
